Thankful for the support of Canyon County Treasurer, Jennifer Watters (someone I closely work with in helping safeguard and steward your tax dollars). Our offices work together to reconcile monthly fund balance reports, among other items. Nampa has many different funds, divisions, and even utilizes several different levies, that all must be managed by statute and according to the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). Financial stewardship of taxpayer funds is of critical importance.
